Due to the circumstances of Saturday's home game against Cliftonville being abandoned, Linfield have decided to reimburse their fans by allowing free entry to this Saturday's home game against Newry.
This offer will be available to both Linfield and Newry fans and for once, its good to see a positive PR step taken by the club. No doubt Linfield took this measure, given any free Cliftonville fixture may be swelled by an unwanted element, thus this manouvre will ensure the fans are kept happy and seats are filled at a less controversial game. Heres hoping for good weather at the weekend and we get our first league game at the third attempt!

I read a good solution elsewhere, Blues work out from takings roughly how many Reds fans were there, give them that number of tickets. No doubt they'll gurn about the 1000 concessions there were but tough.
